About Wondybook
Kids have big feelings. Fear, worry, not fitting in, not wanting to sleep. They don't always have the words for it. We make books that give them those words.
How it started
We were parents first. And like most parents, we read a lot of bedtime stories. Beautiful ones. Funny ones. Brave ones. But when our kids were scared of the dark, or worried about school, or feeling like they didn't quite fit in — we couldn't find a book that really got it.
Not a lecture about feelings. Not a worksheet disguised as a story. A genuinely funny, warm, beautiful book that a child would ask for at bedtime — and that would quietly help them make sense of something hard.
We couldn't find it. So we made it.
What we make
Picture books — funny, deadpan stories about dragons who are scared of cats, potatoes who overthink everything, and lunchbox snacks who can't agree on anything. Each one tackles a real feeling — anxiety, worry, self-acceptance, bedtime struggles — through characters kids actually love. Available on Amazon.
Personalized books — upload a photo of your child and they become the hero of their own story. Not a name swapped into a template. A real story, illustrated with their face on every page, about courage and adventure. Delivered as a premium hardcover.
Free coloring pages — printable coloring pages featuring our characters. Download them, print as many copies as you like. New pages with every book release.
What we believe
The best children's books don't teach feelings — they name them. A child who hears “being scared is less scary when someone else is scared too” has something to hold onto the next time the lights go off.
Every Wondybook is written with care, illustrated with heart, and made for the specific moment a parent sits down with their child and reads something that actually matters.
A note from us
We're a small team — a founder who codes and a designer who illustrates. We read every piece of feedback we get. If your child loved a book — or if something wasn't quite right — we'd love to hear about it.
